Just like a fence between two houses, a fence defines who owns what and where your responsibility is with the lawn, garden and also limiting unwanted people entering without your permission.

Setting boundaries is both healthy for our emotional state but also our physical wellbeing.

Creating our boundaries to live and adapt is very empowering when you have given everything to everyone around you, without putting yourself first - for a long time.

By recognising the need to set and enforce your limits/boundaries; you protect your self esteem, maintain self respect and work on developing healthy, mutual beneficial relationships.
