We are nurturing ourselves into looking at the positives in the moment and look at engaging the mind and body soulfully to improve ourselves and lead a more fulfilling life.

We want to improve, but don't know where to start. Our intentions help cement our thoughts and feelings and embody part in being present.

Setting intentions is the act of stating what you intend to accomplish through your actions. It's a commitment to what you want the journey to be about as you move on or move up. When you are intentional about something, your focus is in the moment : who you are, what you do, why you do it.

Here are ways to set your intentions:

  1. Most of the time our mind is caught up in thoughts, emotions, and memories. Beyond this noisy internal dialogue is a state of pure awareness that is sometimes referred to as “the gap.”  A way to slip into the gap is through meditation.
  2. Once you’re established in a state of restful awareness, release your intentions and desires. The best time to plant your intentions is during the period after meditation.
  3. Intention is much more powerful when it comes from a place of contentment than if it arises from a sense of lack or need. Stay centred and refuse to be influenced by other people’s doubts or criticisms.
  4. Relinquish your rigid attachment to a specific result and live in the wisdom of uncertainty. Attachment is based on fear and insecurity, while detachment is based on the unquestioning belief in the power of your true self.
  5. Your focused intentions set the infinite organising power of the universe in motion. Trust that infinite organising power to orchestrate the complete fulfilment of your desires.
